Lars Harvey - CEO

Lars Harvey is a co-founder of Internet Identity and has served as the company's lead executive since the company's inception in 2001.  Prior to starting Internet Identity, he started two Internet-centric businesses and held product and marketing management roles in business-to-business service companies including DST Systems, Intouch Inc., and Roadway Express. Harvey has earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC-Berkeley and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.  He is an active participant in several industry groups, including the Anti-Phishing working Group (APWG), the Authentication and Online Trust Alliance (AOTA) and the Digital PhishNet.

Rod Rasmussen – President and CTO

Rod Rasmussen is a co-founder of Internet Identity and has served as technical leader since the company’s inception in 2001.  He is widely recognized as a leading expert on the abuse of the domain name system by phishing criminals.  Rasmussen is co-chair of the Anti-Phishing Working Group’s (APWG) Internet Policy Committee and serves as the APWG’s Industry Liaison, representing and speaking on behalf of the organization at events around the world.   This includes bodies like the Worldwide Web Consortium, AUSCert, and most importantly closely working with ICANN, the international oversight body for domain names.  He also represents Internet Identity as a member of the Steering Committee for the Authentication and Online Trust Alliance (AOTA), and is an active member of the Digital PhishNet, a collaboration between industry and law enforcement. Prior to starting Internet Identity, Rasmussen held product management roles for LanQuest, a network equipment testing company, and modem manufacturer Global Village.  Rasmussen has earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC-Berkeley and holds two bachelor’s degrees, in Economics and Computer Science, from the University of Rochester.
