DNSSEC Survey Shows Interesting Results

IID has just released results from its survey of Internet security experts on their knowledge of domain name system security extensions (DNNSEC). DNNSEC relies on digital signatures to the DNS infrastructure to protect against several authentication exploits, such as cache poisoning. Those digital signatures have already been put in place for  .org and .info, among other top-level domains. With the signing of major top-level domain .com, slated for today, IID was interested in learning from Internet security professionals what they knew about DNSSEC and its implementation. Read about the survey and see some of the findings here.
